Planning zones is one thing. Enforcing them is another.
IEC 62443 divides plants into zones and connects them through conduits. RagerSec is the device that technically secures that boundary.
Supported system requirements
Excerpt from IEC 62443-3-3. The exact mapping to security levels will be defined with certification.
Network segmentation
Separates the control network from higher-level networks logically and physically.
Zone boundary protection
Monitors and controls traffic at the boundary. Anything not explicitly allowed is denied by default.
Input validation
Malformed or unexpected protocol telegrams are dropped before they reach the controller.
Auditable events
Every rule decision is logged with timestamp, source, target and function.
Continuous monitoring
Events are sent via syslog to your SIEM or OT monitoring.
Denial of service protection
Limits connection and telegram rates per peer so a CPU is not overloaded.
Developed securely per 62443-4-1
RagerSec is developed following the secure development lifecycle of IEC 62443-4-1. Certification against the component requirements of IEC 62443-4-2 is planned.
Looking for pilot sites
We are looking for operators and system integrators in manufacturing, energy and building automation to test RagerSec in our early access program.
